Buyer Beware
The product is not as pictured - do not rely on Faucet Depot's information. My toilet (from FD) needs a new seat. Original paperwork does not give model# so I looked on the site. Piece of cake, I thought; soft close, elongated. Looks like the one in the picture on a one piece toilet. Seat that came is flat, no side flange over the hinge, old fashioned mounting hardware for two piecer. FD no help whatsoever.

I would buy this product any day!
The best invention for toilet seats no noise when it closes. The kids are always slamming the toilet seats due to the weight of them. These one's close nice and slow and their such a great price I replaced all bathrooms. I think by the seats not slamming they will last five times as long. Husband installed each one in about 3-5 minutes.

Works well but difficult to clean
The seat seems well made and is solid. The cotton color I purchased matches the Toto toilet perfectly. The slow close mechanism works great and sets the seat down silently. The shape fits the Drake II perfectly and it was easy to install.The hinge is more complex than a usual seat in order to house the slow close mechanism. The result is multiple parts with small gaps between them making the occasional human mess far more difficult to clean. Had I been aware of this I'm not sure I would have purchased. Try to get a look at one in person before ordering. The price on three with free shipping could not be beat.

Soft close, worth every penny
Purchased this to go with the CST744EL and matches with the color perfectly. Soft close makes no more slamming of the toilet seat an issue. This also feels much more comfortable than other seats. Down side is cleaning the seat where it has a lot surface area that is most exposed to the (splashing) water.
